Conceived as a refined transformation of the existing residence, this project balances retention and reinvention through a carefully resolved renovation and extension. The original bedroom wing is preserved, while a new addition to the side and rear unlocks a more expansive, contemporary mode of living.

The design is anchored by a generous open-plan kitchen, living and dining space that spans the full width of the home, flowing seamlessly to an alfresco terrace with views to the lawn and pool. A strong emphasis on light and spatial fluidity is reinforced through the introduction of an internal courtyard, drawing natural light deep into the plan and enhancing the amenity of internal spaces.

A sculptural architectural language defines the home, expressed through a series of considered arches. A bold, arched façade establishes a distinct street presence with integrated shading, while this motif continues to the rear, framing views and creating a cohesive architectural identity.

Careful planning ensures the efficient integration of existing services, while a discreet, separately accessed office provides privacy and flexibility for working from home. The result is a calm, light-filled residence, where architectural clarity and thoughtful detailing elevate everyday living.
